Job Summary
Our client is in the early stages of implementing a new ERP system (Premier) and is seeking a Business Analyst with strong expertise in ERP implementations, specifically focusing on materials management, supply chain, and surgical supplies within a healthcare setting. This role offers Remote / Hybrid work flexibility, with occasional on-site presence required for project milestones and when the Premier team is on-site.
The successful candidate will work as part of the Information Systems (IS) team, collaborating with end users to design workflows, ensure the application functions as intended, and provide post-go-live support. This is a critical role for ensuring the successful implementation and continued optimization of the ERP system.
Job Responsibilities :
ERP Implementation :
- Collaborate with the IS team to implement the Premier ERP system, specifically focusing on materials management, supply chain, and surgical supply modules.
- Work closely with end users to gather requirements, design workflows, and ensure the system is configured to meet the needs of the healthcare environment.
- Ensure that the ERP system functions properly, addressing any issues during the implementation phase and post-go-live.
Post-Go-Live Support :
Take ownership of the ERP system after the project goes live, ensuring ongoing support, troubleshooting, and optimization.Serve as the primary point of contact for any system-related issues, gathering feedback from users and working to continuously improve the system.Collaboration & Communication :
Act as a liaison between end users, IT teams, and leadership to ensure the system meets business needs and aligns with organizational objectives.Support the training of end users to maximize the effective use of the ERP system, particularly in relation to materials management and supply chain processes.System Optimization :
Analyze and optimize ERP workflows to ensure operational efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with healthcare regulations.Recommend and implement improvements to enhance system functionality, focusing on streamlining supply chain processes and ensuring the accuracy of surgical supply management.Technical Expertise & Business Acumen :
Utilize strong business analysis skills to assess requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the ERP system.Ensure that the ERP system integrates effectively with other systems and supports the organization’s supply chain and materials management needs.Project Milestones :
Attend on-site meetings as needed for project milestones and when Premier’s team is on-site.Manage and report on project timelines, deliverables, and progress, ensuring successful completion of implementation phases.Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.3 years of experience in ERP implementations, with a strong focus on materials management and supply chain in a healthcare environment.Experience working with ERP systems in healthcare is essential; Premier ERP experience is not required but is preferred.Proven ability to work with end users to design workflows, gather requirements, and ensure ERP functionality meets business needs.Experience with ERP implementations, familiarity with supply chain modules, particularly in a healthcare setting.Strong business analysis and process design skills to ensure system workflows meet operational needs.Familiarity with healthcare supply chain operations and the integration of ERP systems into clinical and operational workflows.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse teams and end users.Ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and work independently with minimal supervision.Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve issues efficiently.About Us
