Job Title: IT Manager (Infrastructure)

Pay: $55 - $65/hr W2
Conversion Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 annually
Job Summary:
The IT Manager is responsible for managing the IT infrastructure. Prepare and implement IT plans based on company operational goals and objectives. Responsible for the safeguarding of data, systems and programs that support business needs. Oversee acquisition of IT hardware, software, as well as IT services and systems. Establishes, plans, and administers the overall policies and goals for the information technology department. Analyzes the needs of different departments and determines ways to meet business objectives by modifying existing or developing new information processing systems. Manages the research and selection of IT equipment, applications, and supplies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Formulate the overall IT strategy for the company in alignment with the short-term and long-term goals of the organization.
- Administer the hardware, software, phone systems, and third-party services required to operate IT infrastructure.
- Consult with users, management, vendors, customers, and technicians to assess IT needs and system requirements as they relate to overall business objectives.
- Evaluate the organization’s technological use and needs and recommend improvements, such as hardware and software upgrades.
- Implement and train staff on Syspro ERP.
- Create and provide reports for management.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate Sy-Klone IT Emergency Plan as well as disaster recovery systems.
- Maintain off-site back up system.
- Maintain compliant software licenses.
- Effectively resolve technical and IT process requirements and challenges for external and internal customers.
- Develop and maintain annual IT budget and expenses.
- Support Customer Service objectives.
- Maintain the catalog of IT assets.
- Oversee and maintain all computer systems, software and hardware.
- Collaborating with office and production staff, managers and teams across all departments.
- Quality Commitment – Individually and as a team member support Sy-Klone’s purpose and vision, with a daily focus on compliance to Sy-Klone systems, policies and procedures, supported by a continuous quality and process improvement mindset.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement efforts of increased safety, quality, delivery, and cost reduction through active cross functional communication.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Ability to analyze and concisely report on the ongoing status of IT systems and infrastructure, utilizing metrics where applicable.
- Organizational skills supporting effective and timely completion of tasks and responsibilities.
- Effective operational team member.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field of study, plus a minimum of 3 years’ operating and/or managing hardware and software infrastructure, applications and database administration, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Experience in SQL, Microsoft Server, Microsoft Office Suite, Office 365, SolidWorks PDM, Syspro ERP and supporting software and services typical of the IT industry.
Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
