About Us: At CSI Construction, we specialize in Commercial Roofing and Construction, The majority of our work is done for Miami Dade County. Some of our clients include Miami International Airport, The port of Miami, Miami Dade County Parks, just to name a few. We’re expanding our team and are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to work hand in hand with our project manager to help support both office and field operations. Job Description: As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of projects. This hybrid role combines office-based administrative work with some on-site field responsibilities, allowing you to stay engaged with both the project team and on-the-ground activities. You will support project managers in managing resources, schedules, and project quality, while actively engaging with field teams to monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and tracking of project schedules, budgets, and resources from both the office and the field.
- Coordinate project activities, ensuring that the team is aligned and tasks are completed according to plan.
- Perform site visits to monitor field progress, inspect work, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Communicate directly with clients, vendors, and team members both in the office and in the field to ensure timely project delivery.
- Provide support in resolving on-site issues, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Help maintain and update project documentation, submittals, permits, reports, and schedules.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred but not required (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to balance office-based tasks with on-site fieldwork responsibilities.
- A flexible, proactive attitude and the ability to adapt to changing project needs.
- Comfortable working in both office and field settings, with the ability to travel to job sites as needed.
- Basic knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and project management practices (preferred).
Preferred Skills:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or relevant project management training.
- Computer literate can adapt to construction-based applications such as Company Cam. Versed in Excel, outlook and other basic applications.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
