Position Summary:
As a Junior Liaison, you will play a vital role in supporting our resident volunteers, encouraging them to have a rewarding experience while helping them navigate housing laws, policies, and procedures. You will work closely with staff and committees to manage vacancies, provide guidance, and foster a strong sense of community.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and educate resident members on housing laws, policies, and cooperative management procedures.
- Assist with property management tasks, including monitoring vacancies and working with committees.
- Build relationships with resident members and support their leadership development within the community.
- Provide administrative support to liaison staff as needed.
- Travel between corporate office and properties throughout Southern California are required.
- Lift and transport materials up to 30 lbs.
Qualifications:
We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds. While property management experience is a plus, we value passion, dedication, and the ability to lead.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Experience: Property management experience is desirable but not mandatory.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building abilities.
- Commitment: Passion for working with seniors and fostering community engagement.
- Mobility: Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance.
- Language Skills: Bilingual in Spanish, Korean, Armenian, or Russian is a plus!
