Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Promotion of Products
The Area Manager is responsible for promoting CSL Behring products to select call points, including health care professionals, hospitals, patient support groups, distributors, and specialty pharmacies.
Customer Relationship Development
The Area Manager develops customer advocates for promoted products by cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key customers.
New Business Development
The Area Manager is responsible for developing new accounts and growing existing ones through solid customer relationships, communication of technical product and disease state information, and effective territory management skills.
Territory Planning
The Area Manager develops and implements territory business plans consistent with corporate direction to achieve or exceed territory sales targets.
Knowledge and Skills
The Area Manager should have a high level of business acumen and knowledge of product features and benefits, competitive products and programs, and distribution channels.
Travel Requirements
Regular travel is required, which may include weekends for select customer or corporate meetings and events.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in a scientific or business field and a minimum of five years' pharmaceutical sales experience or equivalent. Experience with patient groups, specialty pharmacies, and distributors is highly valued.
