Position Summary
The Business Development Manager will play a critical role in cultivating and expanding CSM America's business relationships. This individual will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts, forging new connections, and developing strategies to expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development within the facilities management or janitorial services industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify additional opportunities for collaboration.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing client needs and fostering trust.
- New Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and industry events.
- Leverage relationships to secure introductions to decision-makers and expand the company’s client base.
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with company objectives and revenue goals.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to identify market trends and assess competitive positioning.
- Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets by negotiating and closing new contracts with clients.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals, bids, and presentations to potential clients.
- Market Insights and Analysis:
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Provide feedback to internal teams to optimize service offerings and address market demands.
- Reporting and Metrics:
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress.
- Prepare regular reports on business development performance and forecast future growth.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Education:
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of business development experience, preferably within the janitorial services, facilities management, or related industries.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and cultivating long-term client relationships.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- Analytical and strategic thinking with the ability to identify and act on growth opportunities.
