Summary:
The Truck Sales Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for maintaining & tracking new truck orders, assistance in the development of PowerBI reporting for salesperson & management, and collaborating with the operations and finance & accounting teams on truck valuations.
Responsibilities:
- Track and report on new truck sales orders that are submitted to the manufacturers to help ensure efficient & timely decisions can be made by management
- Perform project-based work related to new and used truck valuations, appraisals & costs, including analysis of market information and reconciliation of data with the business systems
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Executive Vice President of Operations
Duties:
- Track and provide company leadership with analysis related to companys order log of trucks reconciled to backorder of order shown by manufacturers
- Execute on used truck pricing models by using multiple sources to periodically update comparisons for truck types, etc. Review and report on companys Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application (SAP SalesCloud) to help salespersons and management maintain and track activity.
Education, Skills, Experience:
- Associates degree in a Business Administration related field required including successful completion of some accounting coursework
- Preferred general accounting exposure and experience but not required
- Understanding of relevant computer programs and proficient in data entry and management
- Preferred software experience: Excel, PowerBI or Tableau
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
- Attention to fine detail and accuracy
- Discretion and sound judgment
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
Work Environment, Physical Demands:
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop and lift/move up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
