Position Title: Construction Superintendent
Location: Home office is located in Hebron, KY with work occurring within the Tri-State area
Desired Project Experience: Commercial construction and crew lead/management experience a plus.
Position Summary: Self perform, manage CSP crew and subcontractors for the successful completion of light commercial, remodel work, and based on experience, new ground up builds. Position is 40 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Project Manager and CSP President
- Execute construction and remodel plans with efficiency and accuracy.
- Produce high quality finished products in a timely manner
- Must be able to walk, stand, climb, kneel, reach, crawl, push, pull, and twist the majority of the day
- Comfortable working with power tools and ladders
- Must have good organizational and time management skills
- Required to have knowledge of national and local building codes
Qualifications:
- Ability to travel locally
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass drug test
- Ability to complete 30 hour OSHA training
- 3 years of experience in the construction/remodeling sectors preferred
- Smart phone required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Comfortable wearing any necessary safety equipment to include but not limited to: hard hats, safety glasses, ear plugs, and steel toed boots
- General construction knowledge and skills to oversee and self-perform if necessary to include but not limited to:
- Framing Wood and Metal Stud Walls
- Hanging Doors
- Installing trim work
- Installing cabinetry
- Basic painting skills
- Installing and finishing drywall skills a plus
- A general understanding of electric, plumbing, mechanical and other tradework needed
- Ability to learn new technologies and techniques quickly
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a daily basis
