This position is a 6 month contract opportunity with the opportunity of extension and possible conversion.
This position is 100% REMOTE, candidates must work EST hours.
Job Summary:
The IT Asset Management (ITAM) team is responsible for executing end-to-end IT asset lifecycle management. This includes monitoring, recording, and tracking software and hardware assets to ensure compliance with vendor contracts, licensing, and user policies.
Seeking an experienced individual to maintain user applications licensing fulfillment, assisting with compliance and reporting, entitlements and balance tracking, collecting and maintaining accurate software licensing information to address budgeting, software compliance & inventory, contracts, and costs.
The ideal candidate has a strong customer service orientation, excellent verbal and written communication skills, extensive and varied software asset management knowledge, and excellent knowledge of Excel and vendor portals.
Knowledge of product use rights for key publishers such as Microsoft and Adobe is critical.

Job Functions:
- Maintaining dashboards and recurring reports pulling from diverse data sources to report on software asset management, master application listing and ITAM workflows including purchases, configuration management database (CMDB) activity, vendor activity, software applications, tagging and updating the CMDB
- Monitor all renewals and new software purchases
- Interact with primary vendors for purchases, renewals, licensing research supporting the IT Asset Management team
- Carrying out the portal admin roles and day-to-day monitoring for Microsoft licensing portals, Adobe Admin and Adobe Sign, ServiceNow and other SaaS user licensing portals.
- Processing of tickets for user software requests including interacting with users and managers to maximize customer satisfaction and appropriate usage.
- Create ad hoc and custom reports as well as maintain various Excel reports with CMDB, Intune and other data, preferably in ServiceNow and Power BI
- Support other areas of IT including Desktop Engineering, IT Implementation, Security, Tech Support, Executive Support as assigned
- Conduct regular assessments for licensing compliance for user applications, utilization reporting and optimization
- Participate in ITAM improvement initiatives and inter-organizational teams and marketing of Archwell Essentials software asset management services
- 1-5 years of software asset management experience
- Proven and verifiable expert-level Excel skills including the quick construction of pivots, lookups, and comparative reports
- Deep knowledge of all Microsoft user products and services within O365, M365 Exchange, Defender, etc.
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Licensing model
- Associates degree in an IT technical or relevant related field or equivalent certifications
- Extensive experience with ServiceNow, Intune, Azure AD, ITSM systems, ServiceNow CMDB/SAM, endpoint management, and software asset management tools
- Exposure to Power BI and other BI tools
- Proven application of common concepts, practices, and procedures within the IT service field and software licensing and ITIL
- Excellent speech, communication, and organizational skills up and down to users, management and customers
- Bachelors degree in an IT technical, business or relevant related field
- Advanced ITIL/ITAM certifications
- Advanced knowledge and application of Power BI
