Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining IT systems, including servers, networks, and cloud environments.
- Support troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Perform routine system updates, patches, and backups.
- Document IT processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
- Assist in setting up and configuring workstations, software, and network devices.
- Support SOC II, cybersecurity initiatives and implement security best practices.
- Collaborate with IT staff to improve system performance and efficiency.
- Develop hands-on experience with system administration tasks, including server management and network troubleshooting.
- Gain proficiency in configuring and managing operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).
- Understand networking fundamentals (IP addressing, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, and VPN setup).
- Learn to implement and maintain IT security best practices to protect organizational assets.
- Enhance problem-solving skills through real-world troubleshooting and system optimizations.
