What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grant Post-Award Administrator position at CSU Fullerton Auxiliary Services Corporation (ASC)?
Under general direction of the Department Chair/Project Director in the Department of Social Work, the Grant Post-Award Administrator provides advanced level expertise and administrative support to the Project Directors and Project Coordinators in the coordination and administrative functions of the post-award process of graduate level training grant stipend programs focusing on behavioral health workforce shortages. The Grant Post-Award Administrator will collaborate with other team members to assist with student recruitment and selection processes, practicum placement for stipend recipients, and training activity facilitation. The Grant Post-Award Administrator will be responsible for maintaining all funder data requirements, paperwork processing for student stipends and travel, data management and assessment, and providing support for periodic reporting and budgetary analysis.
The position involves establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with campus departments and statewide organizations including the Social Work Department Administrative Support Coordinator (ASC) and faculty, Extension and International Programs (EIP) and other university units, CSUF ASC Sponsored Programs staff, and the funding agency, the CA Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI).

- Serve as key technical advisor to Project Directors and Project Coordinators, providing advanced-level functional expertise for post-award grant administration
- Serve as key contact for support of highly complex post-award training grant activities with budgets of approximately $6 million
- Collaborate with the Department Chair for the Department of Social Work, Project Directors, Project Coordinators, and support staff of the Office of Grants and Contracts, the Office of Financial Aid, and Auxiliary Services Sponsored Programs
- Establish and optimize quality assurance processes to ensure timely and detail-oriented processing of grant administration and other tasks
- Evaluate post-award management for the department and address problems and implement solutions to streamline processes
- Data collection, data entry, and data management relating to applications, interviews, and admissions decisions
- Creation of flyers, marketing materials and social media posts
- Assistance with data analysis and program assessment in coordination with faculty and in response to funder mandates
- Assisting with and delivering information sessions and open forums, as needed
- Organizing and scheduling applicant interviews
- Provide support to student applicants and recipients
- Other duties as assigned
- Experience with data management and analytical assessment using Excel, SPSS and online-based survey tools, such as Qualtrics.
- Excellent technical competency, including familiarization with data management software, including Microsoft Suite, Excel, Adobe Suite, Canva, and SPSS, and ability to quickly grasp and navigate intra-net platforms.
- Familiarity with social media with ability to assist other grant staff in posting informational and outreach posts on department social media accounts.
- Strong administrative background
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a solid foundation in grammar, spelling and the composition of various communication vehicles.
- Detail-oriented and ability to manage changing priorities, critical deadlines, and maintain a sense of urgency, initiative, and follow-through.
- Ability and/or interest to work in a multi-cultural/multiethnic environment.
EDUCATION:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum Master’s degree, preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
