Job Summary
The Supply Chain Planner will play a crucial role in ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet forecasted consumer demand. This position will be responsible for translating demand forecasts into actionable supply plans, balancing inventory availability, production schedules, and procurement strategies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Track current inventory levels and ensure alignment with demand forecasts.
- Analyze demand planning reports, inventory data, and market trends to anticipate supply needs.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance inventory efficiency and reduce waste.
- Adjust supply plans based on factors such as seasonal trends, promotions, and market shifts.
- Work closely with operations, production, procurement, and logistics teams to align supply strategies.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the entire supply chain process to support seamless operations.
- Use analytical skills and sound judgment to address supply challenges proactively.
- Utilize integrated software systems for inventory tracking, forecasting, and planning.
- Manage inventory counts with precision and ensure data accuracy in reporting.
- Act as a backup to the scheduler when needed.
- Other duties as assigned by your supervisor
Required Skills &Training:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in supply chain planning, scheduling, or logistics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
