We are hiring for multiple open cleaning positions in the Grand Rapids area for Tidy Maids LLC. We are a family run house cleaning service that cleans houses throughout the Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo areas.

We do also own a commercial division for CT Cleaners LLC

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining private residences, ensuring a comfortable, organized, and welcoming environment for homeowners and guests. The housekeeper will perform a variety of household cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathroom sanitation, kitchen cleaning, and general tidying up. Additional responsibilities may include laundry, bed-making, and occasional deep-cleaning projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned residential areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces, and common areas.

• Maintain cleanliness through dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.

• Conduct deep-cleaning activities such as scrubbing bathrooms, sanitizing kitchens, and washing windows as needed.

• Assist with household maintenance tasks to support overall home upkeep.

• Handle cleaning equipment and supplies safely and responsibly.

• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the homeowner or manager.

• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized for efficient use.

• Collaborate with team members to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Skills

• Experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping is preferred.

• Knowledge of home cleaning techniques and proper use of cleaning products.

• Familiarity with floor care practices, including vacuuming, mopping, and stain removal.

• Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming home environment.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.

• Good communication skills and ability to work well with homeowners and team members.

• Basic knowledge of home maintenance tasks is a plus.
