What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mortgage Loan Officer Sales Assistant position at CTBC Bank?
POSITION SUMMARY :
Support mortgage loan officers in various support tasks and roles
Do not originate mortgage loans
Ensure in compliance with the bank’s policies and procedures and government regulations
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Support Mortgage Loan Officers (40%)
Perform miscellaneous duties as needed and required by the mortgage loan officers
Assist mortgage loan officers in working with third-party vendors such as title, escrow, etc.
Loan Reviews and Coordinating with Internal Support (30%)
Review real estate appraisals, title reports, and real estate transactions
Receive customer applications and complete follow-up activities with the registration lock-in
Working with internal partners on any / all loan transactions
Customer Support (20%)
Communicate with borrowers to obtain documents and other requirements
Update the borrowers on their loan status
Bank Compliance (10%)
Support bank cross boarder mortgage referrals initiative
Successfully complete all mandatory training assigned in a timely manner
Understand and comply with all applicable Bank’s policies and procedures as well as governing laws and regulations
Ensure in compliance with the bank’s policies and procedures and government regulations
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES :
Successfully complete all mandatory training on related Bank and BSA compliance as well as other laws and regulations as assigned in a timely manner.
Perform all assigned duties under Bank’s compliance programs and related laws & regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience and Skills Required :
Excellent customer service skills with the availability to assist customers
Experience in customer service industry
Mortgage experience preferred but not required
College degree preferred but not required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
Minimum mobility to work in an office setting; sit for prolonged period of times; operate office equipment including use of a computer keyboard; and reach with hands and arms. Employees are occasionally required to walk and stand and lift and move records and documents weighing 30 pounds or less.
COMMUNICATION DEMANDS :
Attention to detail, strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, self-motivated, and analytical skills, ability to interact with all levels of management and staff.
WORK ENVIRONMENT :
Standard office environment. Noise level in work environment is usually average. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Compensation
The base pay range for this position is USD $21 / Hour - USD $26 / Hour plus full benefits. Exact offer will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
