Position Title : System Engineer
Position Location : This position is onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Description :
In this position, you will join an existing team providing system engineering support to Security Sustainment applications. The applications supported are front-end technologies, i.e., JavaScript (AngularJS, Vue.js, Node.js). The role requires a self-motivated individual that is comfortable working in a team environment. This position will require working in a fast-paced team and a willingness to take on challenges to upgrade or modify sustainment systems. This individual must be willing to tackle challenges sometimes without a lot of guidance or information, and collaborating in a fast-paced, highly visible team environment.Primary responsibilities will beworking with the LeadSystems Engineer,Government leadership and the development team toestablishpriorities, conduct requirements analysis, formalize process design and implementation,contribute tosystem engineering documentation,providingend -user customersupport, and with a focus on testing support.Collaboratewith the team for releases or migrations to new environments.Collaborate with security for any compliancy issues and remediate any activeliens.Troubleshoot andmaintainintegrity to improve reliability and performance of system.Qualifications :
TS / SCI with Full Scope PolygraphA bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and seven (7) years' experience as an SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.Twelve (12) years' SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degreeWillingness to learn and develop strong understanding new technologies and productsExperience developing and updating technical documentation including system architecture diagrams.Experience working with end-user customersDesired Skills :
Experience executing test proceduresExperience with Atlassian Suite products including Confluence & Managing JiraExperience with 508 ComplianceExperience with process design and implementationRequired Clearance :
Must possess an active TS / SCI FS Poly clearance.Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range : $115k - $130k
Please note : This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to : business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
