Summary:
As a Technical Recruiter, you will play a crucial part in identifying and attracting top talent to support our organization's growth. You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing candidates through various channels (including job boards, social media, and networking events) to conducting interviews and facilitating the hiring process.
Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop tailored recruiting strategies. You should possess strong interpersonal skills that enable you to build rapport with candidates while effectively communicating our company's values and culture.
In this position, you will also need keen organizational skills as you'll manage multiple open positions simultaneously while maintaining accurate records of candidate progress throughout the selection process. A good understanding of telecommunications technologies would be beneficial but not mandatory; what matters most is your enthusiasm for learning about this dynamic field.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent communication abilities—both written and verbal—and have a proactive approach toward problem-solving. Being comfortable working independently yet being able to collaborate within a team environment is essential.
This is a 6 month contract role with the possibility of extension. Hiring team prefers local talent and would not entertain relocation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify and define technical recruitment needs across various departments within the organization.
- Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates for technical positions.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate interviews to assess qualifications, skills, and cultural fit for the company.
- Coordinate interview processes, ensuring timely communication between candidates and hiring teams while providing an exceptional candidate experience.
- Utilize various recruitment platforms including job boards, social media, and networking events to enhance visibility of open positions.
- Maintain accurate records of candidate progress throughout the recruitment lifecycle using applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Assist in developing compelling job descriptions that clearly outline role expectations, responsibilities, and required qualifications.
- Stay informed about industry trends related to telecommunications technology to effectively engage potential candidates with relevant insights.
- Build strong relationships with potential hires through consistent follow-up communications and engagement tactics during the recruitment process.
- Participate in onboarding activities for new hires by coordinating orientation sessions and facilitating smooth transitions into their roles.
Requirements
- Onsite position Monday thru Friday 8am - 4:45pm with a 45 min unpaid lunch. Onsite requirement is non-negotiable
- Proven ability to source and engage candidates for technical roles .
- Familiarity with various recruitment strategies, including social media sourcing, networking, and job boards.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with candidates and hiring managers professionally.
- Ability to conduct interviews and evaluate candidates’ technical competencies in alignment with job requirements.
- Knowledge of current trends in the telecommunications field to identify suitable talent pools.
- Capacity for building relationships with prospective candidates while providing a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Basic understanding of employment law and ethical recruiting practices.
- Willingness to learn about new technologies relevant to technical positions in telecommunications.
- Team player committed to collaborating closely with HR colleagues and other departments as needed.

Pay: $29.75 - $35.82 per hour
