Monday to Thursday, 6AM - 3PM; Friday, 6AM - 10AM
Essential Functions:
- Quotation of new work with collaboration of programming and ME teams.
- Work as the primary customer contact for development of new product
- Maintain an understanding of the overall process flow for quoting and order entry
- Maintain an understanding of CTE manufacturing processes and capabilities
- Analyze part model, collaborate, and communicate the manufacturability of product
- Conduct product realization meetings
- Develop and update Items and Routes in ERP software
- Assist in the creation and development of Inspection Criteria as needed
- Use modeling software for process prints and fixture modeling
- Collaborate and develop gauging as required.
- Assist in the improvement of process capability and production volume
- Work with Quality department to help troubleshoot issues
- Develop understanding of cost analysis through software reporting data.
- Make decisions about current product cost in relationship to job reporting data in ERP system.
- Conform to ISO13485, 21 CFR Part 820, and medical device industry requirements
- Other work-related tasks as assigned.
Competency:
- Ability to read blueprints with working knowledge of GD&T
- Good attention to detail
- Strong computer knowledge i.e. Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Working knowledge of machining processes
- Familiarity with ISO13485
- Experience with Solidworks or other 3D modeling software
- Familiarity with quoting and job costing processes.
Educational Requirements:
B.S. in Engineering field preferred or minimum of 5 years in Engineering role
