Job Summary
The Human Resources Manager / Recruiter contributes to the overall goals and objectives of CTI by providing day-to-day human resources support that will promote an employee-oriented culture. This position is responsible for the recruitment and development of a superior workforce. The role includes collaborating with managers to understand their needs for open positions, revising job descriptions, reviewing, and advising on competitive compensation, ensuring credentialing compliance, collaborating on employee training, monitoring/reporting on turnover and retention.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the HR Director and managers to proactively define workforce needs and key roles, implement tactical and strategic plans to meet business goals.
- Lead the recruiting efforts by creating recruiting campaigns, maintaining the ATS (ADP), conduct interviews, and engage with the applicant through the onboarding process.
- Develop job descriptions with hiring managers to ensure accuracy of skills, knowledge and position requirements are accurate prior to posting.
- Source passive candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, and other sources. Schedule interviews as needed.
- Development of and implement new hire orientation.
- Conduct onboarding and offboarding sessions.
- Manage and maintain employment records, including I-9 documents, update employee data in ADP ensuring accuracy.
- Coordinate the annual enrollment process for benefits including 401(k) and assist employees with benefit questions.
- Conduct or administer pre-employment requirements such as reference checks, background checks, drug screens and physicals.
- Execute human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations.
- Provide support to the annual performance management process to include goal setting, mid-year check-ins, annual appraisals, and compensation planning.
- Maintain current knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Assist in the review and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws, standards, Department of Energy (DOE) and/or Department of Defense (DOD) regulations, as well as according to company need.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- 3 years of experience in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition is required.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now and ADP Recruitment highly desired.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of industry best practices, risk assessment techniques, standards, and applicable laws.
- DOE and/or DOD regulations as they relate to Human Resources is highly desired.
