What are the responsibilities and job description for the Benefits Manager position at CTI Consulting?
Reporting to the Director of Compensation and Benefits, working independently or in a team to develop, implement, administer and maintain benefit and retirement programs, policies and procedures. This requires ensuring the programs meet employee needs, align with business objectives, and comply with legal requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Evaluate benefits programs through research and analysis of benefits trends and/or vendor management to ensure plans are competitive and compliant.
· Manage benefit plan financials, including monthly billing and budget reconciliations for all plans, working closely with Broker and Finance/Accounting departments.
· Create, maintain and manage benefits operating procedures.
· Lead overall implementation activities for annual open enrollment, new benefit coverage, new carriers, etc.
· Preparation of reports and applications required by law to be filed with federal and state agencies, such as Internal Revenue Service, Department of Labor and other regulatory agencies.
· Serve as escalation point for complex benefits inquiries requiring senior level support or intervention.
· Ensure proper maintenance of enrollment and claims records for all benefits plans.
· Develop benefits communications
· Provide statistical and census data for insurance carriers and management.
· Lead benefits team to ensure they are meeting deadlines in ways that comply with company's plans and vision; organizing workflow and ensuring that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks; monitoring employee productivity and providing constructive feedback and coaching.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS & QUALITIFICATIONS
· Candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or a related discipline with 4-6 years of applicable experience.
· Candidate with Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) and/or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification is preferred.
· Candidate must have extensive knowledge working with a variety of benefits concepts, practices and procedures.
· Candidate should have at least 2-5 years supervisory experience.
· Candidate should possess advanced Excel knowledge.
· Candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with others.
· Candidate must be skilled in handling sensitive and confidential matters.
· Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly SAP HCM is a strong plus.
· Must have good analytical skills, be a self-starter and be well-motivated.
· Being bi-lingual is an advantage.

Pay: $68,802.00 - $74,237.00 per year
