Job Overview
The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership to FSQ personnel and ensuring compliance with Company food safety and quality standards for raw materials, processed products, and processing procedures. This role requires strong leadership and mentorship skills, as well as the ability to evaluate and implement strategies that improve overall quality and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight to Quality Assurance personnel, including training, scheduling, attendance, and guidance for continuous improvement.
- Plan, coordinate, and provide corrective action follow-up for internal audits, including GMP, foreign material, and Food Defense.
- Assist in product traceability and mock recall exercises, third-party, and customer audits.
- Execute the requirements of environmental monitoring programs, including weekly and monthly microbiological testing, taking appropriate actions to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, and a minimum of 1-3 years related experience in a USDA regulated manufacturing facility, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelors degree (B.S.), HACCP/PC certification, and process control training preferred.
- Experience in managing employees and providing strong leadership and mentorship.
