What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cat6 Technician / Project manager position at CTIS LLC?
Looking For lead technician/Project manager with a lot of knowledge on Cat6 cable installations and trouble shooting. This position will be managing up to 10 small projects nationwide at a time, but includes some field work from time to time. you MUST be familiar with Low voltage terminology and be able to explain work orders to field techs in other states as well as go over survey forms.
Monday-Friday 8am to 4pm at our warehouse in Pflugerville.
Must speak English (spanish is a big plus)
Abilities and knowledge
Run and clean all cabling with zip ties, jhooks, etc.
Mount data racks and configure data rack layout.
Terminate patch panel.
Terminate jacks.
Certify cables.
Cut out MPLS boxes.
Install faceplates.
Label all cables.
And anything else within a low voltage technician responsibility.
Must be:
Have a professional appearance.
Able to be professional and follow orders from lead techs/project manager.
Have reliable transportation.
Be able to sign an NDA.
Have a positive attitude while at job sites.
