CTR Group is seeking experienced Senior Engineering Technicians / Technical Writers in Portsmouth, Virginia area for Shipyard projects!
SUMMARY :
This position requires application of all qualifications to support the Hull, Mechanical and Electrical Technical codes with the preparation of Technical Working Documents (TWD) such as, Job Summaries, Task Group Instructions (TGI's), and Deficiency Forms (DF's). Order materials, services and rental equipment for ongoing and upcoming availabilities, ship check for interferences, develop estimates and prepare and issue technical working documents. Uses Advance Industrial Management (AIM), Advance Industrial Management Support System (ATIS), Technical Information Manual (TIM), HAYSTACK GOLD, Industrial Process Instruction (IPI), NNSY Documents, Computer Industrial Technical Information System (CITIS), Conversion Liaison Instruction (CVLI's), Maintenance Standards, Tech Manuals, Current Ship's Maintenance Project (CSMP's), and Microsoft office. Equivalent programs or comparable / functional database experience will satisfy requirement.
