Position Overview :
The Warehouse Technician ensures efficient, accurate, and safe warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials. This role supports internal production teams as well as external customers, while maintaining accurate inventory records and adhering to safety standards.
Job Duties :
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase ordersPick, pack, and prepare orders for internal production and external customersOperate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, overhead cranes) to move and organize inventoryStore materials in designated areas, maintaining proper labeling and organizationConduct cycle counts and periodic physical inventories, reconciling discrepanciesUtilize inventory management systems (ERP / WMS) for transaction recording and order trackingFollow proper handling, storage, and safety procedures at all timesCommunicate effectively with supervisors and related departments to ensure timely delivery and accurate material specificationsIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiencyMaintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environmentJob Requirements :
High School Diploma or equivalentPrevious warehouse, logistics, or materials handling experience preferred, especially in a manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret documentation such as packing lists and purchase ordersFamiliarity with basic computer applications and inventory management software (ERP / WMS)Ability to safely operate material handling equipment; certification preferredStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood communication and teamwork skillsBasic math skills for counting and verifying inventoryAbility to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. as well as work in varying environmental conditionsCTR Group has been a leader in its industry for over 30 years and is highly rated on Google, Indeed, and Facebook as a great company to work for.
