BizTek People is seeking an experienced profession in Collateral Management to support out client Chicago!
The Collateral Management Consultant will support their team that provides overnight coverage for operations in NJ and NY.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect system-generated collateral calls for accuracy prior to issuance.
- Responsible for issuing and processing daily margin calls for bilateral agreements covered under a CSA, cleared agreements, and affiliate margin.
- Communicate directly with counterparties to ensure proper collateral exchange.
- Post system entries in internal and industry platforms to recognize and settle the agreed margin calls.
- Investigate and escalate disputes and discrepancies.
- Settle month-end collateral margin interest with external counterparties and affiliates.
- Perform nightly reconciliations between custodians, counterparties, and internal books and records.
- Identify and escalate system issues and challenges to the overnight IT staff.
- Collaborate with internal partners across various functions, including Credit, Legal, Finance, and Trading.
Hours:
- 7pm - 3am (Chicago Time)
- The work week for this overnight team starts at 7pm on Sunday night and ends at 3am on Friday morning (Chicago Time).
Work Environment:
- Mainly work from home, with 1 day per month in the Chicago office. Initially, some flexibility will be required to attend in-person training at a higher frequency. *Local candidates only.
