What are the responsibilities and job description for the Collateral Management Consultant position at Phyton Talent Advisors?
Our client, a Global Investment Bank, is seeking a Collateral Management Consultant:
*This shift is 7pm - 3am, starts 7pm on a Sunday night, and ends 3am on Friday morning*
*This role is mainly work from home, but the team does 1 day a month in the Chicago office. At the start of the engagement, we would need some flexibility to report to the office at a higher frequency to accommodate in person training."
Responsibilities:
- Inspect system generated collateral calls for accuracy prior to issuance
- Responsible for the issuance and processing of daily margin calls for bilateral agreements covered under a CSA, Cleared agreements, and affiliate margin
- Communicate directly with counterparties ensuring the proper collateral is being exchanged
- Post system entries in internal and industry platforms to recognize and settled the agreed margin calls
- Investigate and escalate disputes and discrepancies
- Settle month-end collateral margin interest with external counterparties and affiliates
- Perform nightly reconciliations between custodians, counterparties and company's books and records
- Identify and escalate system issues and challenges to the overnight IT staff
- Working with internal partners across various functions; Credit, Credit, Legal, Finance and Trading
- We would look for a candidate who has 1 years of experience in Collateral Management.
Salary : $45 - $46
