We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, supervising staff, and ensuring efficient logistics processes. This role requires strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of the flooring industry to optimize warehouse performance and meet production demands.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational standards.
- Manage inventory levels through effective production planning and demand planning strategies.
- Coordinate internal team activities to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a productive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a related field is essential.
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Familiarity with Q Floors software is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in flooring industry extremely helpful, overall warehouse knowledge is key
- Knowledge of forklift operations and safety protocols is an asset.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
