We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Director to lead our Population Health team.
The Associate Director will be responsible for partnering with leadership for oversight of all value-based program operations across all payors. The individual in this position will be integral in the development of future strategic initiatives with the Office of Value Based Performance (OVBP), while optimizing quality and utilization performance within current value-based contracts.
Essential Duties:
Strategically manage CU Medicine’s value-based program portfolio, including the management of assigned OVBP operations staff.
Oversee activities associated with the development of best practices in Epic functionality and workflows that support population health activities (i.e. Reporting workbench, Slicer Dicer, HCC/Clinical BPAs, etc.)
Develop strategies and design workflows positioning the practice to realize performance-based incentives while conversely protecting the practice against fee schedule penalties/reductions.
Create and foster relationships across affiliate partners to promote innovation and alignment with population health activities.
Manage efforts related to new value-based contracts emerging within Specialty and Primary Care domains.
Liaise with payer partners through JOC attendance and strategic discussions on optimizing performance.
Serve as organizational expert for quality and performance reporting requirements across all programs.
Support all related activities when evaluating participation decisions for new value-based contracts.
Develop and maintain academic medical practice networking relationships to assist with identification of best practice and OVBP benchmarking.
Oversee population health funds flow and budgeting activities.
Perform other duties and assist with special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or Graduate Degree highly preferred
8 years of directly related healthcare administration/program management experience required
5 years management experience required
Must be comfortable interacting with providers and act as SME within a clinical setting
Strong project management skills and proven track record of meeting deadlines
Advanced MS Office proficiency
Demonstrated proficiency in Epic Ambulatory and/or Healthy Planet modules preferred

Salary : $120,000 - $145,000
