Duration: 12 month contract with a possibility of extension

Shift Details: Flexible hours; early start time between 4AM-6AM, still an 8-hour shift

Pay Range: $17/hr - $18/hr

Work Location: Onsite (No remote work)
Work Hours: Flexible 8-hour shift, starting between 4:00 AM – 6:00 AM

Position Overview:

As a Lab Assistant, you will support daily operations in a manufacturing setting. This nightshift role involves administrative and housekeeping duties, maintaining cleanliness, assisting with logistics, and working with radiopharmaceutical products. Training is provided to ensure safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work independently and follow technical instructions, policies, and procedures
• Communicate effectively with staff, vendors, and customers
• Maintain site cleanliness and perform general facility cleaning
• Package and prepare radiopharmaceutical medications for shipment
• Perform quality testing and load/unload containers
• Process and inspect returned packages
• Assist with inventory management and material check-in
• Clean and sanitize work areas, delivery cases, and high-touch surfaces
• Provide customer service via phone, message taking, and delivery tracking
• Support pharmacy staff with clerical duties
• Comply with radiation safety, GMP, and EHS programs (training provided)
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong organization and time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Ability to read, listen, and comprehend technical documents
• Physical capability to lift up to 100 lbs (most items 65–75 lbs with handles)

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Logistics or shipping/receiving experience
• Customer service experience
• Ability to answer phones and communicate with vendors/customers

Success Metrics:

• Clean and organized facility
• Clear and effective communication with customers
• Accurate and timely inventory and shipment processing

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (No college degree required)
• Military experience is a plus
• Comfortable working in an environment with radiation exposure (full training provided)
• Basic PC skills and willingness to learn how to read technical instruments/meters
