Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Manager III
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 12 Months Contract/Temp with the possibility of extension
Shift Details: 1st shift (8am to 5pm)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing initiatives, negotiate contracts, and develop supply chain strategies. This role is critical in optimizing cost, ensuring supply chain resilience, and driving procurement excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute commodity sourcing strategies for aerospace and industrial components.
Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean & Six Sigma methodologies.
Collaborate with global supply chain teams and senior stakeholders to ensure alignment.
Analyze market conditions, supplier performance, and risk factors to make informed sourcing decisions.
Enhance procurement automation and improve data analytics through e-procurement tools.
Ensure on-time delivery, quality standards, and cost targets are met.

Qualifications:
8 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or commodity management.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
Experience in manufacturing or engineering industries (Aerospace/Industrial preferred).
Proven ability to negotiate complex contracts and manage global supplier relationships.
Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Proficiency in Excel, procurement analytics, and e-procurement tools.
Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a global, matrixed environment.
Background in strategy consulting or a law degree is a plus.
