In this full-time, W-2 position, you will leverage your expertise in hardware (Raspberry Pi & Jettson), UAV software (ArduPilot & PX4), and embedded systems to integrate CubeNexus technology into drone platforms. Our system provides enhanced navigation redundancy ensuring fail-safe operations in challenging environments (GPS-Denied), your work will directly contribute to breakthroughs in aerospace, defense, and commercial UAV applications.
Due to the nature of our work, including potential collaborations with defense and government projects, applicants must be U.S. Citizens . This requirement ensures compliance with federal regulations and eligibility to work on sensitive projects involving national security. Proof of U.S. citizenship will be required during the hiring process.
Your Role
We’re looking for a hands-on UAV Hardware / Software Engineer with a deep understanding of drone systems and embedded hardware using Mavlink and GPIO ports . You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and deploy CubeNexus technology as a reliable primary navigation system for UAVs.
Key Responsibilities
- System Integration : Integrate CubeNexus TULSA technology from the Nvidia Jetson into the ArduPilot / PX4 navigation input.
- This is hands on hardware / software SIL / HIL lab work
- Firmware Development : Modify, fork, and optimize UAV firmware to support CubeNexus-enabled navigation.
- Hardware Implementation : Work with embedded systems like Raspberry Pi, Jetson, and Pixhawk / CubePilot to run CubeNexus software on UAV platforms.
- Testing & Validation : Develop testing protocols for UAVs to verify CubeNexus navigation functionality in real-world conditions (outdoor & indoor)
- Cross-Industry Application : Adapt UAV systems for applications in agriculture, oil and gas, and defense, ensuring robust performance across diverse environments.
