Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Create a safe and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to support each child's growth and development.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their child's development.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies to encourage good conduct.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum offerings and share best practices in early childhood education.
- Provide care for infants and toddlers as needed, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and developmental milestones.
Experience
- Previous experience in childcare or as a nanny is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
- Experience in classroom management techniques to create an organized learning environment.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles is essential for guiding lesson planning and activities.
- Prior experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred, demonstrating an understanding of their unique needs and learning styles.
- A background in educating young children through play-based learning approaches is beneficial.
