An established manufacturing organization located in the greater Houston area is seeking a Director of Finance to lead its financial operations and contribute to strategic planning and growth. This is a key leadership role overseeing Finance, Accounting, and Human Resources. What You’ll Do:
- Lead all financial planning, forecasting, and analysis efforts.
- Monitor the company’s financial performance and identify areas of risk.
- Direct the implementation and management of a new ERP system (Sage X3 preferred).
- Supervise accounting, procurement, and administrative staff.
- Oversee audits, internal controls, and ensure GAAP compliance.
- Develop investment strategies and financial policies in coordination with senior leadership.
- Ensure all contractual, legal, and financial obligations are met.
- Act as the primary liaison for HR functions and PEO relationship management.
- Produce timely and accurate financial reports for senior management.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA or CPA is a plus).
- Proven experience in a senior finance role (Director level or higher).
- Strong background in corporate finance, accounting principles, and financial compliance.
- Experience with ERP implementation, ideally Sage X3.
- Ability to manage HR functions and lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with the chemicals, manufacturing, or industrial sector is highly desirable.
