Design Engineer 2

Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Design Engineer 2 in Mossville, IL. The work will be done onsite. This is a long term contract. It can lead to permanent employment with our customer. Compensation is $35/hr W2 full benefits, vision, dental, health insurance, 401K and holiday pay.

Our customer is the largest manufacturer of construction equipment in the world.

• Support component resourcing projects. Activities to include: coordinating drawing changes and drawing releases with EDC-I team in India, developing DVP&Rs for the validation of the resourced components, coordinating specific validation steps in support of the DVP&R activities including metallurgical analysis, dimensional measurements, endurance testing, and performance testing.
• Support product assembly for injectors and/or governors. Assist in prototype builds and prototype testing.

Typical task breakdown:

• Team meetings to discuss priorities and results
• Review and update project plans for sourcing projects
• Work with Met Lab and quality inspection to submit requests and review results.
• Present results and conclusions in periodic team update meetings.

Interaction with team:

• Daily interaction with team face to face and by Teams

Work environment:

• Office desk location, factory floor, and test area.

Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience Required:

• BS Mechanical Engineering, BS Agricultural Engineering
• 2-4 years experience

Technical Skills

(Required)

• CREO, MS Office, APQP, DVP&R’s

• TeamCenter experience, CREO Modeling,
