What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dev/ Research Engineer 2 position at Cullerton Group?
Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Dev / Research Engineer 2 in Griffin, GA. The work will be done onsite. This is a long term contract. It can lead to permanent employment with our customer. Compensation is $43 / hr W2 overtime pay, including full benefits, vision, dental, health insurance, and 401K. Cullerton Group will provide H1B Sponsorship.
Education & Experience Required :
Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Equivalent Technology degree
An Associates degree with more than 4 years of experience will be considered
No Master’s degree’s
Technical Skills
Required) Ability to troubleshoot & build harnesses
Understand how sensors / actuators and other electronic components work
Experience reading electrical schematics and harnesses
Experience with engine electronic hardware validation or software development
Desired)Familiarity with Griffin Production Processes
Demonstrated ability to resolve manufacturing process defects
Hands on electrical experience; simple circuit repair, harness construction and re-work, dyno cell point to point troubleshooting.
CANape experience
Experience with 6S CPI Green Belt Lead projects
Good communication (powerpoint, excel graphs, etc), interpersonal and collaboration skills
Experience with PSPS, CTC Rules, CAT ET, Cadet and CANape
Experience with datalinks : CDL, J1939 and Modbus
Experience with Quality Tools : myCPI, PPRD, CAT-TOP, Warranty Watch List
Soft Skills
Required)Be able to communicate effectively with Factory workers, Engineers as well as Managers
Document issues found in relevant tracking systems
Be able to identify and categorize electronic, design, harness, print issues
Good Organization skills
Time management and be able to prioritize between multiple priorities
Desired) Use excel graphs / powerpoint in presentations as required
