What are the responsibilities and job description for the System Administrator 2 position at Cullerton Group?
Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Systems Administrator 2 role in West Fargo, ND. The work will be done onsite. This is a long term contract. It can lead to permanent employment with our customer. Compensation is $32/hr OT including benefits, vision, dental, health insurance, 401K and holiday pay. Cullerton Group will provide sponsorship.
Typical task breakdown:
- Attending discussions with local business partners, corporate IT, and collaborating with other IT on-site team members to provide status updates and determine next steps.
- Complete installation of site-specific software on desktops and coordinate deployment of assets to the factory floor work centers.
- Trouble shoot network infrastructure or desktop assets at the local facility.
- Work on IT projects for LAN/WAN, desktop, or audio/video improvements.
- Work with a production supervisor or office worker to remediate a client/server technical issue.
Interaction with team:
- 2 other folks on team onsite; worker will be supporting internal customers within CAT

Education & Experience Required:
- Minimum requirement is associate’s degree
- Minimum requirement of two to four years professional IT experience.
Technical Skills
(Required)
2-4 years professional IT experience in each of the following:
- Desktop PC related hardware/software technology
- Backend infrastructure (server, storage, database, network)
(Desired – Nice to have)
- ITSM services: Incident, Problem, Vulnerability management, including restoration of service, root cause analysis, and permanent corrective action.
- Administrator level access for desktop assets, LAN/WAN hardware and IT infrastructure software for configuration.
