Mental Health Professional
Will be designated weekends (3-12s) Friday-Sunday
Job Summary:
- Support the licensed mental health clinician in providing comprehensive mental health services.
- Assist with assessments, case management, psychoeducation, and other specified duties as part of the interdisciplinary team.
- Enter data, complete administrative tasks, and work effectively in a healthcare setting, including spending time in the emergency department.
- Attend the monthly interdisciplinary meetings.
- Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.
- Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.
Education:
Must have a masters degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.Individuals can be under Supervision but would need supervisor approval.ALC or LMSW Eligible.
Experience:
Prior Experience with Case management and suicide prevention preferred
Additional Skills/Abilities:
Empathy, professionalism, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are crucial. Familiarity with therapeutic modalities and the ability to assist in therapy sessions and provide psychoeducation under supervision is important.Essential skills include proficiency with electronic health records (HER) systems, strong organizational and time management abilities, and the capacity to handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, documentation, and case management.
