Job Summary :
- Maintain ongoing inventory control, purchase system, and departmental expenditures for department.
- Create purchase orders for department and verify orders with vendors, purchasing manufacturers and staff requesting order; follow up on orders through appropriate channels until resolved.
- Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient / guest experiences.
- Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.
Qualifications
Education :
High school diploma or equivalent required. Basic computer skills required. Heart saver certification required within 30 days of hire date.
Experience :
Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred. Hospital orientation and unit orientation required. Must have interpersonal skills sufficient to effectively interact with all health care team members.
Additional Skills / Abilities :
Possess excellent interpersonal skills sufficient to interact with guest. Proficient oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills required.
