About the position

Culmination Bio seeks a highly experienced and strategic Vice President, Commercial Implementation, to join our organization. As the Vice President, you will drive the successful integration of Culmination biospecimen and data assets, delivering on contracts with our commercial partners in biopharma, biotech, and diagnostics. Your primary focus will be developing and optimizing innovative processes and solutions, which enhance the delivery of our contractual obligations and create a competitive advantage in the industry. This is a critical leadership role that requires a deep understanding of contract implementation, commercialization strategies and a proven track record of driving successful partnership and operational initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Be kind to all you work with.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for delivering elements of the Culmination data and biospecimen asset to our commercial partners, aligning with the organization's overall commercial goals and objectives.
• Lead cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and optimize relationships with external partners, our Intermountain Health colleagues, and Culmination scientific, operations, and data teams.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including operations, science, and data teams and their leaders, understanding their processes to implement and deliver on new contract responsibilities in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with external partners in biopharma, biotech, and diagnostics, coordinating with their operational and implementation staff, eliminating challenges to delivering expected data or biospecimen elements.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of integration initiatives, regularly reporting on progress to senior management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of managers and analysts, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Report to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as health informatics, business administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in operational management, commercialization, or a related field, with at least 3-5 years in a Sr. Director or VP role.
• Demonstrated experience in successfully integrating health data into research partnerships, drug development, or diagnostic validation.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry trends, regulations, and best practices regarding health data privacy, security, and compliance (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
• Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including operations, scientific, and data technology teams.
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance short-term priorities with long-term goals.
• Exceptional leadership and people management abilities, with a track record of developing and motivating high-performing teams.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• A results-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to drive projects to successful completion, delivering on time and within the contracted budget.
