An innovative industrial manufacturing firm based in Lower Hartford County is seeking a people-oriented Junior HR Business Partner to support day-to-day HR operations. This role will ensure efficient payroll processing, employee engagement programs and maintaining safety and wellness initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for HR functions including maintaining employee records and assisting with employee relations issues
  • Process weekly payroll for approx. 80 fulltime employees and manage hours for temporary workers
  • Coordinate onboarding programs, creating a positive and welcoming new employee experience.
  • Manage employee learning and development programs to support employee growth and organizational compliance.
  • Partner with the Safety Action Group to maintain a safe work environment and ensure up to day OSHA and safety training programs
  • Lead wellness initiatives and employee engagement programs, fostering a positive work culture.


Qualifications:

  • Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment and engaging with production floor employees.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively
  • 1-2 years of HR experience preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish is plus
