CULTA is currently looking for our next Dispensary Manager to join and lead our dedicated Dispensary team in Columbia, MD! The Dispensary Manager is responsible for maintaining an inventory capable of meeting customer demand. The Dispensary Manager will ensure our product inventory includes a wide variety of cannabinoid profiles, including products with high cannabidiol (CBD) content. A diverse inventory with varying cannabinoid profiles offers customers a choice of products that provides different therapeutic and palliative effects. They are also responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Dispensary facility in accordance with state laws and regulations and standards set by CULTA, LLC. Reports directly to the Director of Retail Operations. Provides support for all agents, including schedules, training, policy and procedure updates, industry news, and product information. Responsible for the ordering and receiving of all inventory and products, arranging deliveries, maintaining facility compliance and cleanliness.


JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs), best practices, and policies to advance CULTA's mission, vision, goals, and objectives at the store level.
  • Hire, develop, and train dispensary employees. Lead the development of employee training materials, including education and development of staff regarding medical cannabis strains, products, and consumption mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with other functional leaders in developing and implementing a best-in-class customer experience.
  • Deliver optimal productivity in stores through operational excellence, process improvement, and consistent resolution of challenges.
  • Maintain accountability of all dispensary agents and their execution of the specific job descriptions.
  • Utilizes management resources and analyzes financial reports to identify and address trends in employee and store performance.
  • Work with Senior Leadership Team to develop and monitor all sales goals.
  • Facilitate opportunities to motivate and support the sales floor agents to achieve goals and maintain high standards for customer service.
  • Directs and monitors Sales Leads and Budtenders to accomplish goals established weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Observe and coach the sales floor agents on productivity, customer engagement, sales incentives, etc.
  • Direct product display floor sets/ display changes; ensure brand consistency and integrity are maintained.
  • Lead by example when working on the sales floor and the BOH, willingness to step in when needed to accomplish any task within the dispensary.
  • Adaptability, the ability to implement and enforce sudden or long-term change within the retail setting.
  • Oversees all inventory and supply purchasing for the dispensary.


QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to work onsite as needed.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or industry training equivalent preferred.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Retail experience, 5 years.
  • Cannabis industry experience preferred.
  • Inventory Management experience, 2 years preferred.
  • Must be able to qualify as a registered agent with the State Commission and may not have any violent or drug related felony convictions.
  • Level-headed and compliant minded approach to problem solving with customer/ employee interactions.
  • Exceptional team building, communication and people skills.
  • High level of integrity and a strong work ethic.
  • Exceptional willingness to be a hands-on manager and fill gaps to accomplish business objectives.
  • Proficiency in computer usage including retail point-of-sale software, all MS Office applications, email, scheduling software, online conferencing, and more.
  • Ability to develop, analyze, and interpret key performance metrics, and read, analyze, and interpret financial reports relating to dispensary performance metrics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills including anticipatory thinking and the ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a calm composure.
  • Detail oriented, critical thinker, problem solver and assessor.
  • Excellent communication, multi-tasking, time-management, planning, and organizational skills.
