What YOU Will Do :
- Design, develop, test, validate, and maintain software to meet test equipment requirements that are traceable to customer system specifications and software detail specifications for various types of specialized automated test equipment.
- Maintain and advance the development of a reusable and configurable standard software architecture.
- Develop and maintain test documentation, plans, procedures, and reports.
- Write requirements and detailed design documents.
- Develop Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) from conception through implementation.
- Troubleshoot complex issues that may be software, hardware, system, or product related to determine root cause and corrective action
- Communicate technical issues through written, verbal and presentation media.
- Support to the manufacturing / operations group as needed to help ensure on-time delivery of product.
- In performing these activities, the Software Engineer will interface with Customers, External Suppliers, Program Managers, Engineering Managers, Mechanical, Software, Electrical, and Systems Engineers, as well as the Manufacturing organization.
- Project management of various projects with small teams of test engineers and outsourced test equipment hardware build.
