Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Summer Enrichment Coordinator to join our team. The Summer Enrichment Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the Summer Athletic Enrichment Program. This role requires strong project management skills, the ability to work with diverse populations, and a passion for working with you and an interest in making a positive impact in the community.
Our main program hours of operation are Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Our Summer Athletic Enrichment Program operates inside of a gym. The Summer Enrichment Coordinator has to be ok with being in the heat and in an athletic facility.
Duties
- Coordinate and oversee program activities, ensuring they are executed efficiently and effectively
- Develop and implement program plans, including goals, objectives, and timelines
- Manage program budgets and resources
- Recruit, train, and supervise program staff and volunteers
- Collaborate with community partners to enhance program offerings
- Collect and analyze data to measure program outcomes and effectiveness
- Provide support and guidance to program participants
- Assist with fundraising efforts to support program initiatives
- Utilize social media platforms to promote programs and engage with the community
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., teacher, social work, psychology, public health) or equivalent experience
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in social media management platforms
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data for reporting purposes
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to provide guidance and support to staff and volunteers
- Proficient in administrative tasks such as scheduling, record keeping, and report writing
