Responsibilities

- Coordinate recreational activities that encourage social interaction and community involvement.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure that all programs align with the overall care plan for each resident.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to promote participation in events.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate residents' interests and capabilities to enhance program effectiveness.
- Organize special events and outings that foster a sense of community and belonging.
- Maintain accurate records of participation and feedback to continually improve programming.
- Provide training and support to staff on best practices in recreational therapy and event planning.
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities in a senior care environment is preferred.
