What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cultivation Technician position at Cultivation Facility?
Overview
The Cultivation Technician plays a vital role in the growth and maintenance of plants within our cultivation facility in central Michigan.
Responsibilities
- Support the Cultivation Team in tasks on an as needed basis.
- Assist the Cultivation team with defoliating cannabis plants, assist in harvesting crops.
- Clean rooms post harvest, and perform bucking and sorting of product post harvest.
- Effectively communicate with support teams and management.
- Timely completion of work and strive to increase productivity through coordinated workflows and processes.
Requirements
- Work on your feet for 8-10 hours a day.
- Work in a crouched position for long periods of time.
- Bend, lift, carry and reach with 25 pounds frequently throughout day.
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- 80-90% of the time will be physical labor.
- A valid drivers license.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Must be willing and able to work flex weekends.
- Must be able to work a full 8 hour shift per day Monday to Friday.
- Must have at least one year of cannabis cultivation with references to be considered.
Job Type: Full-time
