Job Title: Unlicensed Therapist, ASW, AMFT, APCC

Duty Hours: Full time hourly position, virtually and in office,

Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist: Clinical Rate $30-40; Based on experience. 1500 hours or less.

Administrative Rate: $17.50 for time outside of clinical work (documentation, chart review, letters, consultation, supervision, phone calls, community outreach, and any time you are advocating or documenting for a client.

Classification: Non-exempt (Hourly). This position is an hourly position based on case load and not a contract position. The employee will receive a W2 and wages will be taxed. Hourly rate will be discussed in person.

Cultural Family Therapy is a private practice based in central Fresno. We are seeking unlicensed therapists to join our team. Our therapists will provide clinical therapeutic services to children, adolescents, adults, families and couples with identified behavioral health diagnosis. At our center, we not only provide supportive and therapeutic care to our clients but also strive to create a culturally affirmative supportive professional environment that facilitates growth and understanding in the private practice setting.

Duties

• Conduct initial assessments, develop, implement treatment plans based on diagnosis, clinical experience/knowledge, and clients presenting problems.
• Review and provide reflective feedback to administrative staff in a professional and appropriate manner to improve employee satisfaction.
• Accurately recognize crisis situations, assess potential danger to clients and/or others, and effectively intervene, as needed.
• Provide therapy to multicultural populations and underserved communities.
• Be open to consultation, reflective and continued learning in the mental health field.
• Attend weekly supervision and/or group supervision with the clinical director/supervisor.
• Provide clinical documentation and assure that all filing of clinical information and submission of billing information is done accurately and within the time frame required by managed care.
• Maintain confidentiality of case records relating to the client’s treatment that are in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and other federal and state regulations.
• Provide client advocacy, case management, referrals and letter writing when clinically necessary.
• Maintain an independent license to provide psychotherapy in the state of California.
• Rate/provide feedback on clinical staff, office staff and CFTI in order to improve and support your employee experience.

• Pay increases upon successful completion of probation period (3 months).

*Increases in pay or case load are contingent upon probationary status.

: Possess excellent interpersonal skills. Collaborate and thrive with a diverse group of people, clients, and co-workers. Adherence to patient information HIPAA laws, regulations, and confidentiality standards. Make decisions independently based on what is best for clients and the company. Must be able to operate basic office equipment such as copiers, telephones, scanning, etc. Familiarity of basic computer skills consisting of internet navigation, word processing, data / client information entry.
