The IT Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the IT infrastructure and support services within Culture Kings. This role ensures the seamless functioning of IT systems, networks, and applications to support business operations, enhance customer experience, and drive efficiency. The IT Operations Manager will manage IT support teams, oversee system performance, implement security measures, and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize IT services.
\n- Oversee the maintenance, monitoring, and optimisation of IT systems, networks, and hardware to ensure business continuity.
- Ensure uptime, availability, and performance of critical retail IT systems, including POS (Point of Sale) systems, inventory management, and e-commerce platforms.
- Manage IT service desk operations, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues across retail stores, warehouses, and HQ.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to align with business needs and industry standards.
- Lead and manage a team of IT support professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
- Collaborate with external vendors, service providers, and partners to ensure the delivery of reliable IT services and solutions.
- Negotiate contracts with IT vendors and ensure cost-effective procurement of IT equipment and services.
- Ensure IT security measures are in place, including firewalls, antivirus software, data encryption, and access controls.
- Implement and maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies regarding data protection and cybersecurity.
- Conduct regular security assessments, risk analyses, and system audits to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate potential threats.
- Work closely with senior management to develop IT strategies that align with business goals and drive operational efficiency.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to enhance business performance and customer experience.
- Develop and manage IT budgets, forecasting costs, and identifying areas for cost-saving and optimization.
- Lead IT-related projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, networking, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
- Experience managing IT operations in a retail environment, including POS systems and e-commerce platforms.
- Leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor and develop IT staff.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues effectively.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of ITIL frameworks, project management methodologies, and industry best practices.
