What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector Aerospace Manufacturing position at CultureStaff?
Duties and Responsibilities : I nclude the following; other duties may be assigned.
- Receives and inspects Outside Vendor (OSV) parts for compliance with required process, certification and any other required paperwork. Documents and reports on all discrepancies.
- Inspects purchased parts, assemblies, accessories, and raw materials for conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments and devices : Examines items for defects in materials, work and damage occurring in transit.
- Performs in-process inspections per documented requirements and reports on all discrepancies.
- Prepares Inspection Discrepancy Report (IDR) as required. Inputs data into the QA
database as required. Documents acceptance / rejections on the appropriate router.
