Position Overview:
As an Intern at The Guidance Center, you will shadow a task manager and receive supervision from a licensed clinician. You will learn about the population we serve, our case management model, and how to document care professionally. This opportunity is designed to help students gain practical experience while contributing meaningfully to the lives of our clients.
What does this position look like?
An Intern at The Guidance Center will assist with progress notes, treatment plans, and program intakes. You'll provide guidance, role modeling, and advocacy to clients while participating in team meetings and treatment planning. Additional responsibilities may include supporting social, daily living, and survival skill development and encouraging client use of community resources and services.
