What are the responsibilities and job description for the MENTAL HEALTH ADVOCATE BI-LINGUAL SPANISH SPEAKING position at Cumberland County Guidance Center?
Dynamic Opportunity~ As a full-time employee, working 40 hours per week. A Bi Lingual Mental Health Advocate is responsible for providing face-to-face individualized clinical support services for consumers, who need consistent contact to ensure the highest level of optimal psycho social functioning. Serves as a member of the PACT Team providing case management and/or specialized services to the consumer, participates in PACT medication deliveries and provides education and support for natural supports such as family of the PACT individual.
The Guidance Center~ is a primary mental health support agency, providing compassionate, professional care for individuals and families with mental health needs in the greater Cumberland County, NJ area. For more than 60 years, our non-profit organization of professionals, doctors, nurses, therapists, and support staff, has assisted the community in the diagnosis and treatment of all types of mental illness.
What does this position look like~ Serves as a member of the PACT Team providing case management and/or specialized services to the consumer, participates in PACT medication deliveries. Collaborates with consumers and other PACT team staff in assessing client needs, developing specific treatment goals, objectives, methodologies, timelines and evaluates progress towards these goals. Also monitors service delivery and the impact of service effectiveness as well as client satisfaction. Responsible for accurate, complete and timely documentation of provided services in accordance with established policy guidelines for record keeping and billing.
What you need to apply~
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in human services or health related field.
- Two years post Bachelors of experience in the provision of mental health or related services.
- A valid New Jersey driver's license and ability to be insured by our carrier.
- Bi-Lingual Spanish Speaking
