Job objective
The Financial Analyst conducts continuous analysis of results to expectations throughout the period; communicates and collaborates with management and affected team members under direction from the Chief Financial Officer.
Responsibility
- Prepares accurate and timely monthly account reconciliations and analysis
- Communicate with external auditors and assist in all audits.
- Prepare accurate and timely internal and external reports
- Reviews accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Build and lead process improvements in applicable accounting functions
- Document, analyze and communicate monthly transactional details
- Assist in maintaining, monitoring and documentation of strong internal controls
- Assist in maintaining, monitoring and documentation of strong internal controls
- Supports Chief Financial Officer as needed with accounting and IT tasks
- Supports management on required activities
- Responsible for other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong skills in financial modeling and analytics with a solid understanding of math principles.
- Experience with financial software systems that support data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in all analyses performed.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Possess a sense of urgency while performing tasks accurately
